لما نشرح رسم بنقول: As you can see from the chart… / This graph shows… / Notice that… . وللأرقام التقريبية: roughly وapproximately (حوالي)، just under (أقل بشوية)، well over (أكتر بكتير)، the vast majority (الغالبية العظمى). وللمقارنة: twice as high as، considerably higher than، by far the largest. ولإضافة معلومة جانبية بنستخدم non-defining relative clause بين فواصل مع which: Online sales, which made up a third of revenue, grew fast. وwhich كمان ممكن تشير للجملة كلها: Costs fell, which surprised everyone.
